Not speaking of my mother...

please, let's not speak of that for a while. This totally cracked me up: corporate buzzwords.

I recognized several, and yes, they do make me want to stab someone with a pencil.

A good one heard around here is "in the weeds" meaning the manager is seriously micromanaging your project. If the micromanaging gets worse it's said that "he's so far in the weeds on this one he's snorkeling"
