Caught in the rain.

So, Murphy asked for a walk (!) and we went out to walk at a normal pace, and a storm was approaching, and he wanted to walk on. And we got caught in a downpour, and came home to dry off. Actually, we ran home - okay, trotted, but at a really brisk pace that was not a slow invalid walk. And I dried off, and threw the towel on him to dry him, and he rolled and romped....

And has now finally claimed his crate, and is curled up, snoozing.

You would never, ever believe that this dog had major surgery four days ago, and still has inflammation and unpleasantness going on today. Except for the meds, and the diarrhea, of course. Otherwise, he's as good as new.

And Higgins really, really wants that crate, but not enough to share it with a Wet Dog.

So glad to see the recent posts! I was worried when I checked during the day but it looks like Murphy is on the mend! Hope the biopsy is a good report?

It's amazing how resilient these little babies can be. I'm so glad to hear that he seems to be getting back to his old self again!

So glad that he is feeling better...Poor Higgins, he'll have to wait for the crate another day.
