Home for Dinner.

He's home, he's groggy, but he ate all of his dinner and looked hopeful about more. I don't want to overload his tummy, so I told him he could have a small bedtime snack. Now he's snoozing on his cushion. He has a huge zipper running down his wee little tummy - the incision must be close to four inches, and closed with staples. He doesn't need to wear a satellite dish unless he starts messing with it, and so far, he is completely ignoring it.

I've taken a couple of vacation days, Monday and Tuesday. I shall devote myself to making huge progress on the nasty garage carpet project, while my little patient snoozes and recovers.

He looks great! Hopefully the staples will be ignored throughout the healing process. Glad you can be home with him, you will both be happier.

What a great picture to see the little guy home! He looks no worse for wear from the outside, and I'm sure all the extra loves will have him back to his old self in no time. Thank God you were so in tune with him that you knew something was wrong, Catherine. Give Murphy an extra good night kiss tonight from me and the bossy Westie! (it's a terrier thing)

Hugs (carefully) to the wee Boss and to you, too. May he heal quickly and well.
