Granddoghter.

Look who came to visit today!

She's grown a bit. She and Murphy got along fabulously again.

We went for a walk to the lake. This was her first time on a Real Walk in her entire life, and she was amazingly good - no pulling, no crazy. A few wild direction changes and the occasional leash tangle with Murphy, but she was a walking superstar.

It was also her first sight of ducks. She was fascinated, and wanted to just park herself on the grass and watch them forever.

At one point, Layla got a little rowdy and started playing a little rough, and Murphy straightened her out about that. He turned and gave her a quick little growl, she dropped to the ground in submission, and all was forgiven. It was so fast it was "blink and you'd miss it" but he reminded her that He IS the Bossy Little Dog, and she is a smart, sweet girl and didn't want to offend.

It's not the size of the dog in the 'fight', it is size of the 'fight' in the dog. Well done BLD !!

Off topic bragging - our eldest grandchild, Brigitte, since last weekend is the 100m Butterfly champion in country NSW. She will be 15 in July. Amazing child !!

Gae, in Callala Bay

Awesome grandchild, Gae! Girlchild swam Butterfly around that age (and still blames it for her gorgeous broad shoulders) but not on that level! She has a fan in Florida!
