So Tired.

I got home from work at 8 tonight - community meeting. This will be brief and knitting related, so if that bores you, click away now.

The votes are in (I'm the only one with a vote) and the winning pattern for a sweater each for Supergirl and Miss D will be: the Sunday Sweater. A Facebook chat with DiL changed the color scheme a bit for Supergirl - mom would prefer a more neutral navy blue to the bright royal. No problem. Navy blue Cascade 220 Superwash it is! Miss D's sweater will be a cheery red, in a lovely soft and washable cotton (because this is Florida).

I can feel my knitting mojo has been hibernating for so long! I don't think I've knit a sweater since

this baby sweater for Miss D. Who will be THREE in October. I made a round of winter hats for small heads last year, but no sweaters. I wasn't feeling it. Suddenly, the sweater urge is back, bigtime. I feel binge knitting coming on. Knitting, yoga, Netflix - that will carry me through the stress of the next few months.

The little sweaters will be dear---I have been doing some serious sock knitting and binging on "Mad Men" and "House of Cards." All I can say is that I really want to see Don & Peggy get together and I'm all about the "Groovy Socks" in self-striping yarns.

I have not gotten into Mad Men or House of Cards, but they are in the queue.
